The 25th Annual Keeping the Fires Burning is just over three months away. We invite you to join us on June 18th, 2026 as we honour the tireless efforts and the endless contributions of our Grandmothers and Grandfathers.

Funds raised through Keeping the Fires Burning provide transformative, culturally safe services and programs here at Ka Ni Kanichihk. They also support research and the integration of best practices in Indigenous-led community leadership. These are all critical elements in the restoration and reclamation of our positive and powerful cultural identity.

This year, KFB is excited to welcome emcee’s Tina Keeper and Dennis Chartrand, both of whom have had outstanding careers in the media as producers and speakers. They continue to inspire us all as respected Indigenous leaders and role models.
