About the Role:

We are looking for entry-level Administrative Assistants to join our rapidly growing organization. This role is supportive with administrative duties and tasks. You main responsibilities would include fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, greeting and hosting community, supporting internal and external communications (i.e. emails), maintaining filing systems, and traveling to site to site (as needed).  We thrive on collaboration in a team driven environment, and are looking for folks with friendly attitude that enjoys helping others.  You will be comfortable interacting with diverse people, be adaptable and creative, and loves to make a difference by serving and representing the community we work for!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reception duties including answering and delegating calls, handle internal and external queries
  • Greet and assist all visitors ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and file management
  • Coordinate office supplies, orders, and inventory management
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist and support staff with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, outgoing mail, drafting correspondence or communications, etc.  (print, email, fax)
  • Assist organization and programs with meeting and event preparation as needed
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required

What You Bring:

  • Entry level office administration experience
  • Friendly interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and written
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Outlook
  • A valid Manitoba Driver’s License, clear drivers abstract, and reliable access to a vehicle is considered an asset but not a requirement
  • Flexibility in hours, including some weekends
  • A recent (as of the past six months) Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector, and Child Abuse Registry Check
