Admin Support – Summer Term  



Wage: $16.00/hour

Full Time Position (35 – 40 hours/week)

Term: June 29 – August 28

The Opportunity

We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and dependable Administrative Support Student to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for students interested in administration, office operations, community services, communications, or nonprofit work. As a Summer Administrative Support Student, you will work alongside staff from various programs and departments, helping to keep daily operations running smoothly while gaining hands-on experience in a professional and community-centered environment.

No previous office experience is required—we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to help, and excited to build new skills.

What You Will Be Doing

As Administrative Support, you may:

  • Provide general administrative support to programs and departments
  • Answer phones, take messages, and greet community members, visitors, and staff
  • Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents
  • Support data entry and record maintenance
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars
  • Support event planning, workshops, community gatherings, and special projects
  • Assist with organizing office supplies and maintaining shared workspaces
  • Support program registration, location sign-in, and information tracking
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information respectfully
  • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned

  • Are comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams)

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are willing to support different programs and projects as organizational needs arise
