Ka Ni Kanichihk hosted its first-ever golf tournament at The Players Course on August 14, bringing together business partners and community members for a day of connection and fun. The idea was spearheaded by Leading Black Wolf Mentor Everrett Findley, who saw it as a great way to bring people together while raising funds to support the many programs and services Ka Ni Kanichihk offers to women, families, and youth across Manitoba.

The tournament teed off at 12pm, with each team setting out to claim bragging rights as our first-ever champions. Along the way, teams got to chat with our wonderful major sponsors and single hole sponsors, grabbing a snack or two as they made their way through the course. The afternoon wrapped up with dinner at 5:30pm, followed by the announcement of silent auction prizes and tournament awards for straightest drive, longest drive, closest to the pin, best team score, and most honest team.

Congratulations to Core First Aid for taking home best team score of the day, with MBuilds coming in a close second!
